Jaima Rahman attended a driving-licence examination at the BRTC training institute in Tejgaon on 2 August, BNP media-cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan said.
Khan said the examination included written, oral and practical components.
He said Rahman joined the queue and followed the same prescribed steps as other applicants.
Khan said she completed the required procedures and received a driving licence.
He said she did not receive extra facilities or VIP protocol during the process.
Khan also said people at the centre had not known in advance that she would attend.
