Police Headquarters has transferred eight officers holding the ranks of additional superintendent of police and assistant superintendent of police.
The order was signed by Additional DIG Raihan Uddin Khan of the Personnel Management-1 branch.
The order is dated 3 August in one account, while another describes it as issued on Monday, 3 July.
Additional Superintendent of Police Sheikh Md Selim was posted as an additional deputy commissioner of Chattogram Metropolitan Police.
Gazipur Additional Superintendent of Police Mahbubur Rahman was transferred to Narsingdi.
Chattogram Metropolitan Police Additional Superintendent of Police Mohammad Rabiul Islam was transferred to Chattogram district police.
RAB Assistant Superintendent of Police Swapna Begum was posted to Dhaka Metropolitan Police, and Madaripur ASP Bimal Chandra Barman to the Debiganj Circle in Panchagarh.
Madhukhali Circle ASP Md Azam Khan was transferred to the DIG's office in Khulna Range.
Chattogram Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Md Jamal Uddin Chowdhury was posted to the Maheshkhali Circle in Cox's Bazar, while Industrial Police ASP SM Masuduzzaman was transferred to Madhukhali Circle.
The order requires the officers to hand over duties at their current workplaces by 17 August; those who do not comply will be released immediately on 18 August.
