Former Bangladesh police chief Benazir Ahmed has been released from a Dubai jail on conditional bail.
His release followed legal proceedings and was said to have occurred on 30 July.
A Dubai court had granted his bail application on 27 July.
Under the bail conditions, Ahmed's passport is being held by the authorities.
He cannot leave the United Arab Emirates without permission.
The court heard submissions concerning extradition-related documents sent by the Bangladesh government and related legal procedures.
Ahmed was detained in Dubai in connection with a case filed by Bangladesh's Anti-Corruption Commission.
The Anti-Corruption Commission has alleged that Ahmed acquired illicit assets and was involved in money laundering, and says it is investigating the allegations.
Bangladesh Police Headquarters said it had no information about his release.
Ahmed served as inspector general of police from 15 April 2020 to 30 September 2022.
