A three-year-old boy, Mohammad Abir, died after falling from the rooftop of a four-storey building in Anwara upazila, Chattogram, on 31 July 2026.
The fall occurred at Gulbahar Building in the Paschimchal Kabir's shop area of Barasat union around 9:00 pm.
The boy was identified as the son of Mohammad Dilwar of Raypur union's Gahira Bar Aulia Ismail Miazi house.
Police and local residents said the child went to the roof while his mother was busy with household work.
UP member Md. Zamir Hossain said the child was taken to the upazila health complex, where a doctor declared him dead.
Dr. Mahtab Uddin Chowdhury, upazila health and family planning officer, said the child was brought dead and the body was handed over to the family after legal procedures.
