Gopalganj power supply authorities announced a scheduled electricity interruption in parts of the district on Sunday, 2 August.
The outage was scheduled from 8:00am until 3:30pm, a duration of seven and a half hours.
It was to affect consumers served by the 11 kV Mohammadpara feeder.
The authority said the interruption was needed to cut branches around electricity lines and requested customers' cooperation over the temporary inconvenience.
No specific neighbourhoods within the feeder area, or confirmation that work was completed on schedule, was provided.
