Ta'mirul Millat Kamil Madrasa has announced the expulsion of 30 students in connection with alleged answer-script tampering and other unfair examination practices.
The decision was set out in a special notice issued on 3 August and signed by principal Md Hefzur Rahman and assistant professor Mohammad Salman, who handles examination-related duties.
The madrasa said the allegations arose from half-yearly examinations from kindergarten through class nine, the class-ten pre-selection examination, and the 2026 first-year Alim final examination.
It said answer scripts were re-evaluated and an internal inquiry was conducted before the expulsions were imposed.
Of the 30 students, 12 were in first-year Alim, eight in class seven, three each in classes eight and ten, and two each in classes six and nine.
The institution said 11 of the allegations involved the English second-paper examination, the largest number for any subject listed.
Other subjects cited in the notice included Arabic first and second papers, ICT, Nahw, Balaghat-Mantiq, Quran, civics, history and science subjects.
Hefzur Rahman said the action was intended to protect academic standards, examination transparency and institutional discipline.
He said the madrasa would maintain a zero-tolerance approach to forgery and unfair examination practices.
