Railway police arrested three men at Sealdah station after Rajasthan Police alerted them to a suspected plan to take two men from Rajasthan to Cambodia.

Police identified the detainees as Ravi Kumar, Rituraj Tiwari and Anil Kumar, and alleged that Kumar was the organiser.

Investigators said the proposed route was from Kolkata through north Bengal and northeastern India to Myanmar, followed by Cambodia.

Police alleged that Kumar had offered the two men high-paying jobs in Cambodia and taken their passports.

Police said a family member filed a complaint after the group departed, leading Rajasthan Police to begin an investigation and notify railway police before the train arrived.

Police said the three were to be taken to Rajasthan for questioning.
