The VAT-inclusive retail price for a 12kg LPG cylinder has been set at Tk1,598 from 6pm on 2 August, while the regulated autogas price has been reduced.
The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has raised the retail price of a 12kg LPG cylinder by Tk70 to Tk1,598.
The previous price was Tk1,528.
BERC said the August price is set at the retail point and includes VAT.
The revised price will take effect from 6pm on 2 August and will remain in force until a further order.
BERC also set the price of autogas used in vehicles at Tk73.67 per litre, down from Tk74.40.
