The July Uprising Memorial Museum is scheduled to be formally inaugurated at 9am on Wednesday, 5 August 2026.
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is scheduled to inaugurate the museum.
The Ministry of Cultural Affairs says the museum will be opened to the public immediately after the ceremony.
The ministry says it is intended to operate as a centre for history, research and education.
RAB says it has introduced special security arrangements in Dhaka and elsewhere in the country for July Uprising Day on 5 August.
RAB says it coordinated the measures with other law-enforcement agencies, intelligence bodies and local administrations.
The force says its risk assessment considered the possibility of disruption by extremist groups, banned organisations and other actors it described as opposed to the state and government.
RAB says security was arranged for event venues, designated road-march and procession routes, and July memorial sites from the night of 4 August.
It says uniformed and plainclothes personnel had been deployed for heightened monitoring from seven days before the observance.
RAB also says it increased cyber patrols to counter rumours and disinformation on social media.
