Iran’s army said one serviceman was killed and another injured in an armed attack on a border post in Marivan, in the country’s western Kurdistan province.

The army’s 328th Brigade said the attack took place at about 3 a.m. local time.

The brigade said two FPV suicide drones and RPG rockets were used.

Iranian authorities blamed PJAK for the attack.

No immediate response from PJAK was documented.
