Oman has introduced a 14-day tourist visa whose fee is set at zero Omani rials for eligible nationals of specified countries.
The measure was issued under Decision No. 109/2026, signed by Lt Gen Hassan bin Mohsin Al Shraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs.
It amends the executive regulations of the foreign residency law and adds the visa category to Article 10 and Article 29 of the official entry-visa schedule.
The measure took effect on 2 August after publication in the Official Gazette.
Applicants must meet conditions set by the relevant authorities.
Before the 14-day period ends, a visitor may convert the visa to another tourist-visa category by meeting applicable requirements and paying the relevant fee.
