Health authorities said six more children died from measles or measles symptoms in the 24 hours ending Thursday morning, bringing the cumulative death toll since 15 March to 860.
In the same period, 85 children tested positive for measles and 733 children received treatment for measles symptoms, for a total of 818 new cases.
The directorate's control room reported that cumulative suspected measles cases reached 133,638, including 16,740 laboratory-confirmed cases.
Total hospital admissions since 15 March stood at 115,879, with 111,587 patients discharged after treatment.
According to the health directorate, four of the latest six deaths were residents of Dhaka division and two were residents of Sylhet division.
The Sylhet divisional health office said two infants, aged four and seven months, died at Osmani Medical College Hospital and Shahid Shamsuddin Ahmed Hospital while being treated for measles symptoms.
One of the two infants was from Companiganj upazila in Sylhet and the other from Chunarughat upazila in Habiganj, bringing Sylhet division's measles-related death toll this year to 120.
Sylhet hospitals admitted 74 new patients in the same period, leaving more than 300 measles patients under treatment across the division.
