The Health Directorate said five children died with measles symptoms in the 24 hours from 8am Tuesday to 8am Wednesday.
During that period, 124 children were diagnosed with measles through testing.
A further 959 children received treatment for measles symptoms.
The combined daily figure for confirmed measles and measles-symptom patients was 1,083.
From 15 March to 5 August, the directorate recorded 854 deaths among children with confirmed measles or measles symptoms.
That total comprised 758 deaths among children with symptoms and 96 deaths from laboratory-confirmed measles.
The directorate put the cumulative number of suspected measles patients at 132,905, including 16,655 laboratory-confirmed cases.
It said 115,234 suspected measles patients had been admitted to hospital since 15 March.
Of those admitted patients, 111,005 had been discharged after treatment.
In a separate dengue update, the directorate reported no dengue deaths in the same 24-hour period and 195 new hospital admissions.
It recorded 59 dengue deaths and 17,409 dengue-related hospital admissions from 1 January, with 16,069 patients discharged.
