Two more children died with measles symptoms during the 24 hours ending Tuesday morning, the Health Directorate said.
The directorate recorded no deaths from confirmed measles during that period.
It said 1,019 children were newly affected by confirmed measles or measles symptoms in the same 24 hours.
The update listed 123 newly confirmed measles cases and 896 children with measles symptoms.
It also recorded 86 new hospital admissions and 998 children leaving hospital after recovery.
Since 15 March, the directorate recorded 131,946 suspected measles patients and 16,531 confirmed cases.
Over the same period, it recorded 114,393 hospital admissions and 110,187 discharges after recovery.
The directorate’s figures put deaths from confirmed measles since 15 March at 96 and the overall reported death toll at 849.
The cumulative count of deaths involving measles symptoms requires clarification, as it was stated as 753 in one account of the update and 75 in another.
The lower figure is inconsistent with the stated overall death toll when added to the 96 confirmed-measles deaths.
