An old video linked to actor Shakti Kapoor and a 2005 undercover encounter has resurfaced online.
The encounter involved a woman journalist who posed as an aspiring actor and met Kapoor at a Mumbai hotel, the account says.
The footage is alleged to capture Kapoor making sexual propositions while suggesting that he could help the woman obtain professional opportunities.
Kapoor denied wrongdoing, saying that the woman had made him drink and that the video was partly false and edited.
His denial leaves the accuracy and completeness of the resurfaced recording disputed.
