Actor Rina Rahman has died, actor Shatabdi Wadud said in a public post.
Wadud said she died at about 9pm on August 3, 2026.
He identified her final work as the television serial Parampara.
Wadud said illness had made her participation in the continuing serial irregular.
Rahman worked in stage, television and film during her acting career.
Her career began in 1972 with the television play E Bari O Bari.
She appeared in more than 100 standalone television dramas, as well as serials, telefilms and films.
Her listed credits include the 1987 television drama Sangshaptak and the films Thikana and Ghani.
In a tribute, Wadud recalled working with Rahman in television and radio productions.
