Three people, including a woman, were killed in separate road crashes in Faridpur Sadar and Madhukhali on 3 August.

One of the crashes occurred on the Dhaka–Khulna highway in Kanaipur, Faridpur Sadar.

An e-rickshaw struck a motorcycle carrying three people, causing them to fall onto the road.

A bus then struck one of the riders, identified as Suad, who died.

The other two riders were taken to Faridpur Medical College Hospital with injuries.

In another incident near the main gate of Faridpur Medical College, a battery-powered auto-rickshaw struck Anwar Hossain, 60.

He was admitted to the hospital and later died.

In Madhukhali's Majhkandi area, Amena Begum, 70, was struck by a motorcycle while crossing the road.

She died at the scene.

Karimpur Highway Police officer-in-charge Md Zahir Hossain said police reached the locations, prepared inquest reports and handed the bodies to family members.

No information was provided on whether any vehicles were seized, whether drivers were detained, or whether cases were filed.
