The Health Directorate recorded three child deaths involving measles symptoms during the 24 hours covered by its update issued on 3 August.
It said no child death was confirmed as measles during that period.
The distinction means the three newly recorded deaths were associated with symptoms rather than confirmed measles infection.
The directorate also recorded 1,080 new people with measles or measles symptoms over the same 24 hours.
It said 113 of those cases were confirmed through testing, while 967 people sought treatment with measles symptoms.
From 15 March through 3 August, the directorate recorded 751 child deaths involving measles symptoms.
Over the same period, it recorded 96 child deaths confirmed as measles.
The two categories produced a cumulative total of 847 child deaths in the directorate’s figures.
The directorate listed 131,050 suspected measles patients nationwide, of whom 16,408 were laboratory-confirmed.
It also reported 113,528 hospital admissions and said 109,189 patients had been discharged after treatment.
